Group Piano Classes

These group piano classes were created to offer a fun and engaging environment where beginning to intermediate piano students can learn in community without sacrificing their own individuality at the piano. By using the piano express program, students can progress at their own pace and benefit from making music with others every week!

This curriculum combines traditional piano method book content with the latest technology. By using a web-based app that integrates with the lesson books for students to use during class and at home, students have consistent access to feedback during their practice.

Students have been excelling in these classes since the summer of 2023. It has been so fun to see students excited to practice together in class!

Who is it for?

AGES: 7-12

(Age 6 considered after free trial lesson with instructor)

LEVEL: Beginning to intermediate piano

(Compare with Faber Method Primer - 3b)

What does a class look like?

CLASS LENGTH: Weekly 60 minute classes

CLASS SIZE: 4-5 students per class

What do I need at home?

INSTRUMENT: A digital keyboard with a midi port is ideal for connecting to the Piano Express app online. However an acoustic piano can still be used with the app without immediate feedback on your performance.

What will it cost?

COST: $130 a month + $30 for books when needed

*Missed classes are easily rescheduled since you can attend any of this other class times that have an open seat.

When and where do you meet?

WINTER SCHEDULE:

11:00-12:00 Wednesdays

4:00-5:00 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

5:00-6:00 Tuesdays
